Notes and docs in nested pages
Pages is a free workspace for what you write: notes, docs, plans and wikis. Put pages inside pages, and build each page from blocks you pick with the slash menu.
Everything saves as you type, as Markdown, and the history keeps 30 days of versions.

Questions
What can I write in Pages?
Notes, docs, plans and wikis. Each page holds blocks: text, three sizes of heading, bulleted and numbered lists, to-do lists, toggles, quotes, callouts, code, dividers and links to other pages. Type / to pick a block, and drag the handle at the left of a block to move it.
How do I organize pages?
Put a page inside another from the sidebar, drag it to a new place, or use Move to. Deleting a page moves it and the pages under it to the trash, where it stays for 30 days.
In what format are my pages saved?
Markdown. What Markdown has no syntax for, such as toggles and callouts, uses a small block extension, so nothing is lost. The page saves itself as you type.
Can I go back to an earlier version?
Yes. The history keeps a version of each page at most every 10 minutes of editing, for 30 days. Open History on a page to see a version and restore it.
Do I need an account?
Yes, so your pages are yours on every device: sign in with your email or a Google account. Pages is free, with no ads.
Is Pages a full Notion replacement?
Not yet. This first version has the page tree and the editor. Images and files, tables, Notion import, publishing a site and an API are the next steps.
